Reminder – Marching Band Rehearsal

Time: 6:00 pm -8:00 pm

On behalf of Mrs. Borst and myself we wanted to take just a moment to thank all the parents and band boosters who made camp last week a success.  You donation of food and time were greatly appreciated by the staff and students.  It was a very smooth camp thanks to all your help.  We would especially like to thanks Mrs. Karns and Mrs. Sprague for organizing all the uniforms and making a new method of fitting the students.  They worked on this project since early last spring. 

The Bronco Band learned the entire show during camp this year and most importantly made a bunch of new friends that we like to call our Band Family.   We had an outstanding leadership team and freshmen class that really clicked. 

I will be posting pictures and video on our various social media pages throughout the next week.  If you haven’t liked them yet, please consider doing so.

Students in need of shoes and gloves may now order them.  We like to wait until the school year gets a little closer because students tend to grow over the summer.  If your son/daughter already has a pair of marching shoes and gloves then they are all set.  If they are a freshmen or have outgrown them they will need to order a pair.  We can collect orders with money at school and PayPal (credit/debit cards) is now an option.

The marching shoes are a special shoe with a shaped back heel that allows student to roll their feet more accurately for marching.  The shoes can also be used with the boys concert tuxedo as well.

Please submit orders no later than August 8th.  Gloves and shoes will be passed out before the first game on the 23rd.

We are looking forward to a great week of camp and can’t wait to get started tomorrow morning! 

The weather forecast looks great, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have to hydrate especially the night before.

Don’t forget:

– Eat Breakfast – This is very important!

– Bring a Lunch

– Bring Sunblock

– Wear Athletic Shoes and Socks

– Bring a Water bottle with your name on it

– Bring your Instrument and supplies

– Bring your Camp Fee (Can be brought in anytime during the week or pay online)

– Bring your smiles and a great attitude!

Camp starts at 9:00am – Go Broncos!
