Meeting called to order at 6:06pm

• $350 scholarship request- motion carried.

Reports

• May meeting minutes emailed, uploaded to Band Booster team drive, reviewed- motion carried to approve.
• Financial
  • Bank statement reviewed and approved.
  • File non-profit.
  • Financial audit- Sally Maycroft to perform.
  • 2018/2019 budget reviewed, updated, and approved.
    • Uniform category name change-proposed “Concert”, “Marching”
    • Band camp- $1500 budget
    • Equipment grant- CACF
    • Dry cleaning- $25 dry cleaning fee proposed with notification.
    • Budget uploaded to team drive.
    • Scholarship application (hardship)- Amy K to create.
    • Motion to approve- Rob H, Beth M- second. Motion carried.
• Fundraisers- reminders in newsletter. All fundraisers to be cleared thru Lisa Adams/ Administration.
  • Family Fare receipts- $58,000+ of $150,000 goal. Collection box at concerts.
  • Amazon Smile- still active.
  • Hungry Howies- Fall sale 9/4-9/18 (tent.); Amy K to contact Pete R.

    • High school- full profit to trip

  • Other fundraising ideas- pop can drives, playing gigs, band pictures.
• Vice President-Uniforms- Christine S
  • Attic work to be performed over summer- new racks, etc.
  • Marching uniforms- fitting assigned at band camp.
  • Band camp- students to bring black shoes, water bottle, Signup.com- snacks, parent help; new tackle box (Christine S)- Signup.com to fill supplies.
  • Concert- partially inventoried, will be dry cleaned.
  • Middle school- short 22 polos. Will use Running Stitches- Amy K.

Band Director’s Report

• Website Coopersvillebands.org-Greg V re-doing/re-organizing.
  • To include: link to master volunteer sign up, “What’s that instrument?”, New Band Parent info.
• Student teacher- Nate Soles- CMU
• Student board reps-each “house” will provide.

New Business

• White boards/headsets or drum majors- white boards bought, still working on brand for headsets.

Old Business

• T-shirts- $10/ea. Available to parents.  Maybe use as fundraiser.
