CONGRATULATIONS to all the high school students who performed at Solo & Ensemble on Saturday, February 9th.

DRY CLEANING – $25 is overdue.  Please pay asap!

NEW YORK PAYMENT  – The final payment is due Wednesday, February 20th!

5TH GRADE BAND

• Encourage your student to play “Hard Rock Blues” with the play along track for you!
• A little bit of practice can go a long way. Quality over quantity!

6TH GRADE BAND

• Parent permission to try out the oboe and/or the bassoon is due no later than the end of next week. Click here to learn more about these double reed instruments!  

7TH GRADE BAND

• Festival Evaluation Performance on 3/8/19 @ Muskegon High School at 9:50am
• Festival Pieces include: Royal March,  On the Colorado Trail, To Conquer the Kraken

8TH GRADE BAND

• Festival Evaluation Performance on 3/8/19 @ Muskegon High School at 11:20am
• Festival Pieces include: Marzo Zingaro, Ash Grove Fantasy, Moscow 1941

HIGH SCHOOL BANDS

• Festival Evaluation Performance on 2/28/19 @ Grand Haven High School
  • Symphonic Band at 2:00 and Wind Ensemble at 3:35
• State Solo Ensemble – March 16th at Portage Northern High School

One more reminder on tonight’s clinic/concert.

• ​Begins at 7:15pm (previous report time)
• Wind Ensemble in Band Room with Mr. Borst (no not a typo – Mr. Borst)
• Symphonic Band on stage with Mr. Klein
• This is still a required and graded event the same as the concert
• ​Concert uniforms are NOT needed
• Parents are welcome to listen but will not be a formal concert.  Limited seating is available in the Band Room.
