Band Camp HELP NEEDED!

THANK YOU to ALL the parents who have stepped up to help with uniforms!  It’s a huge and important task for our band students!  We will need even more help the last part of the week (and Friday morning has been added).  Please sign up if you can donate a few hours of your time!  It’s appreciated!  

We are also in need of a few more donations.  THANK YOU for all the donations too!  The students are appreciating their snacks!!

Final Reminders for Band Camp Tomorrow!

Camp Times: Aug 2 – Aug 6 – 9:00 – 4:00

Reminder – We are starting outside on our field.The building will only be open for students getting their uniform fitted.The building will be open to all on our first break.

Reminder – Check in with Mrs. Karns before finding your line.

Reminder – Leadership Team members will greet their sections.   Line up behind them on their line for your instrument.

Uniform Fittings – Check your time and date.  (See reminders below)

Uniform Fittings – Girls will need to bring their shoes that they will be wearing with their concert dress.This will make sure they are hemmed correctly.

Lunch – Don’t forget a lunch!  Campus will be closed during lunch.

Water – Stay hydrated and bring your own water bottle.Drink water the night before.

Google Classroom – Students – Check you email.You have been enrolled in a Marching Band Classroom.

Bring – Sunblock, Water Bottle and Athletic (tennis) shoes.No flip flops or sandals.

Theme Day – Check your email or coopersvillebands.org for the theme days!Don’t forget your crazy socks tomorrow!

Wednesday- CRAZY HAT/HAIR DAY! 

Thursday- DISNEY/BROADWAY! 

Friday- COLOR DAY!

Things to Prepare for Camp Next Week – Booster Updates – Uniform Fitting Times

Camp Times: Aug 2 – Aug 6 – 9:00 – 4:00

Report Location on the First Day: We will begin outside on our field in the back of the high school. Check in to the table by the band room doorWe are not opening the building until after uniform fittings are over. Plan on keeping everything outside to begin. Items you may have in you locker can be accessed during our first break.

Hydration – The best way to stay hydrated is to drink plenty of water the night before.Stay hydrated during the day by bringing your own water bottle.

Lunch – Please make sure to bring a lunch for each day of camp.We will have closed campus and will not be leaving during lunch.

Music – We are creating a Marching Band Google Classroom for Music and Drill. You will still receive printed copies at camp.
