Fundraisers

  • SCRIP – due to raise in shipping ($8) we will no longer offer physical gift cards unless an individual wants to pay on their own.  A few still using program.
  • BAND SWAG – $275 cash & $294 credit at homecoming game.  1 blanket is left, out of hats, meatsticks & stickers available.
  • DECEMBER BAND CONCERTS – Will sell band swag and meatsticks at all concerts.  No flowers this year.
  • CANDYBARS – $345 (approx 6 boxes) owed at high school – $780 owed (approx 13 boxes) at the middle school.  Outstanding bills will be submitted to the office the week of November 12.  Students have been advised of this numerous time via email.  Any left over chocolate bars will be sold at the December concerts.

Uniform Chair

  • Christine will work on best time to do tux fittings for high schoolers.  May be during seminar or after school.
  • Christine will also pick up middle school polos and work on getting them ready for the December concerts.

Band Directors

  • They are planning on going to the Midwest Music Conference in Westmont, Il in December.  The school has agreed to pay for their registration.  They are asking if the Boosters could pay for their hotel stay.  They haven’t been able to go to this for many years.
    • Update…Boosters discussed the next day and voted to pay for the following.
      • Hotel stay – 5 days (will pay for 6th day if Greg can get it secured) = $1,074.84 (need receipts)
      • IRS Mileage for 2021 – $132.63 (directors to turn in receipts)
      • Food Per Diem – $50 / day = $300
      • Total for 6 days if applicable = $1,507.46
      • Boosters also agreed to send 1 director each year to this.
  • Middle School Solo / Ensemble
    • December 4 at Coopersville
    • Will feed judges/directors breakfast and lunch.  Getting pizza for high school students who work the day of (donations of pop and desserts).  Need 3 chaperones for Friday’s set up. 
    • No concession stand this year.

NEW BUSINESS

  • Fundraiser idea – Frandale Fundrasing:  subs, soups and cinnamon rolls.

OLD BUSINESS

  • Selling donuts at middle school – profit would be about $60.
  • Trailer repairs have been paid.
