General Announcements

• Hungry Howies Fundraiser Orders are due THIS Monday! 9/17
  • More information can be found under the booster page or by CLICKING HERE.
• Family Fare Receipts are still being collected in all buildings!
• Any papers handed out in class are also uploaded on the website!
• Chocolate sale volunteer sign up will be emailed out early into next week.

5th Grade Band

• All students should have instruments!
• Assembled instruments and began learning proper embouchure!
  • Check out “Instrument Videos” under the 5th grade tab on the website to watch an instructional video.

6th Grade Band

• Introduced 3 / 4 Time and the full Bb Scale (pg. 40 #1 or #53 in the packet book)
• Continued working on “March Across the Seas”  & “Processional”

7th & 8th Grade Bands

• SOLO AND ENSEMBLE FORMS ARE DUE MONDAY (9/17) CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION
• 7th – Bb Flat Scale, Eb Flat Scale, “March Across the Seas” , “Abominable Snowman,” “The Pied Piper”
• 8th – Pink Sheet Scales 1 – 3, “Colonel Bogey,” “Bobsled Run,” “At Twilight”

High School Bands

• Chaperone information – Watch the webpage and Infinite Campus for a Chaperone interest form.  The amount of chaperones may increase if the student count is high enough to support of third bus.  
• There are still some outstanding band camp fees that have not been paid for $55.  The Boosters will move any outstanding accounts to the school office next week.
• First New York Deposit is due September 28th for students.
• There will be a new New York Section added to the website this weekend.
