BAND TRIP

Thank you for attending last night’s meeting and for all the great questions.  Here are some answers that we didn’t have last night.  Thank you for your patience!!

“How do I know how much money my student has for the trip?”

“How do I request my student’s funds?”

  • Go to the Coopersvillebands.org webpage and under Band Boosters click on Payment Form.  Submit the form online or print it and have your student put it in the black box located next to the director’s office.
  • Your student can ask for the form from the directors.
  • Write your request for funds on the band trip coupon that was handed out at last night’s meeting. Just make sure your student’s name, grade and how much you are requesting.

“Can parents use their student’s fund to help pay for their trip if they are going as a chaperone?”  

  •  Yes.  Use the same form as above.

Please keep in mind that we are juggling a lot of numbers and fundraisers to help make this trip less of a financial burden.  Please be patient with us as we are doing our best.   If you have any other financial questions, please feel free to contact Beth or Kelli and they would be happy to help!

September 3rd - 7th

General Announcements

  • HUNGRY HOWIE’S FUNDRAISER Grades 5 – 12 started this week and ends 9/17. 
    • More information can be found under the booster page or by clicking here.
  • BUFFALO WILD WINGS  – ALPINE LOCATION – THIS WEDNESDAY! – 9/12. 
  • Next Booster Meeting –> Tomorrow – Monday 9/10 6:00pm in High School auditorium
  • REED INSTRUMENTS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO PURCHASE REEDS BY THE BOX! 

5th Grade Band

  • Parent meeting – TUESDAY –  September 11th @ 7:00pm at South Elementary 
  • All students need instruments this Wednesday/Thursday
    • Please email directors with any questions or concerns

6th Grade Band

  •  continued reviewing #20 – #27 | “March across the seas” in red book pg. 21 
  •  LEADERSHIP TEAM APPLICATIONS ARE STILL BEING ACCEPTED VIA GOOGLE CLASSROOM
  •  HANDBOOKS ARE PAST DUE

7th & 8th Grade Bands

  • Solo and ensemble discussion – sign up forms are due September 17th. Click here for more information

  • HANDBOOKS ARE PASSED DUE
  • 7th Grade band – B FLAT SCALE, E FLAT SCALE, “MARCH FROM First Suite , “abominable snowman” 
  • 8TH GRADE BAND – Scales, “Colonel bogey,” “Bobsled Run”

High School Bands 

  • Great halftime performance bronco marching Band!!  Thank you for all your help band boosters!

  • HANDBOOK AGREEMENT FORMS are now past due
  • new york trip meeting – MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th at 7:00 PM – centerstage theatre

Hungry Howies Coupons

Please note that the Coopersville Hungry Howies will only accept up to 5 coupons at a time. Unfortunately, Hungry Howies does not give a list of participating addresses, so each location will need to be contacted by you (or your customer) to find out. Sorry for this inconvenience!
