High School Holiday Concert – December 13th
Concert Begins at 7:00
Report time is 6:15 for student
Thank You to our hard working Band Boosters who have spent countless hours fitting and hemming uniforms. We will look great on Thursday Night.
Thank You to all our High School Volunteers and Boosters who helped run the Middle School Solo Ensemble Festival. We couldn’t do it without you!
Solo Ensemble – Students have their music to choose from. Once they have picked their piece they should submit it via the Google Form in their email. Accompanist information will be posted soon.
In a survey of trumpet, trombone and baritone players we noticed that many students were still playing on a beginners mouthpiece. The beginner mouthpiece is designed for producing the first notes but does not allow for advanced range or increased air support. Student and their parents should strongly consider upgrading their mouthpiece. It will produce a cleaner and more vibrant tone and benefit not only the student but the entire band as a whole.
The following mouthpieces are available from Meyer Music however you may purchase them from your choice of retailer as well. Bach is the preferred brand however the also offer a generic brand as well. We would be happy to place an order through school to Meyer Music if the student brings in the money in an envelope for us.
The next student payment of $216 for New York is due THIS Friday, December 7th for students! You can turn it in any time this week. Please place it in the black box in the band room.
Chaperones – your payment of $249 is due THIS Friday, December 7th. You can turn it in to the high school office or have your student turn it in the black box in the band room.
*The final payment may be adjusted due to room configurations.
