We are excited to share with you a new private lesson program. Since this is a new program, please be patient with us if we need to work out any wrinkles!
We have been asked by the Athletic Boosters if we’d like to help with the north concession stand during home footballs games. We can do as many or little as we’d like.
The Band Boosters have been discussing this opportunity and would love to do this, but since our committee has taken on so many other tasks, we need to ask for help.
So, if anyone is willing to step up and be our Concession Stand Chairman, that would be awesome!! You would be in charge of getting people to sign up to volunteer & someone to close the concession at the end of the night. The Athletic Boosters will open, have the food available for us and pay for the health department license.
Please contact Amy (president@coopersvillebands) if you’d like to do this or have any more questions. I would need a response by August 4th by 1pm. Thank you!!
More information: ~ Estimated 10 people (15 for homecoming)~ Same food as South, with exception of hamburgers. This may be adjusted once we get back in there to make sure all equipment is functioning properly.~ 60/40 split for profits (60 Boosters/40 Band)~ Preferably mostly parents, students/siblings (15-17 yrs old) can work as runners only (no money/no food prep)- Cannot leave concession stand to watch halftime show
Band Camp is over halfway done and it’s been a great week! The students are looking awesome! The directors and staff are doing a wonderful job!!
BLUE LAKE DONATIONS: If anyone has any Blue Lake clothing they would like to donate, please bring it to camp! Kari Fuller has graciously stepped up to take lead on this. If you need any uniform items for your child, please contact her at fullercklr@yahoo.com
VOLUNTEER LOG: We have started a Volunteer Log. This is located on our coopersvillebands.org webpage. It is located under Band Boosters, Volunteer Log. Please log any volunteer hours that you do with the band!
SCRIP: The next physical card order is due Monday, August 5th.
There will be an informal public performance to conclude band camp on FRIDAY at 3:30 on the BAND PRACTICE FIELD. (located behind the high school band room)
All are welcome to this performance. The students will be demonstrating what they have learned this week.
