Hello Band Families,

We had a great 1st morning, however we desperately need your help with uniform fittings.  If you have time in the morning, 7:50-9:00am, or afternoon 3:50-5:30pm it would be greatly appreciated.   We need your help to make this a great year.

**If you want to volunteer your time this season, you MUST complete the CAPS background check. You can do this at the Administration Office or High School Office. Office hours are Monday – Thursdays 8am – 2pm. Please contact them at 997-3500 for available hours.

Boosters Board Open Position

As we are nearing the end of the school year, we are looking forward to next year with your student continuing on in the Bronco Bands. We see exciting opportunities ahead and with that come more responsibilities; not just for your student , but for the program as a whole. There’s way too much work for the Directors to handle, so the Bronco Band Boosters supply a stream of volunteers. We always welcome and appreciate all of our volunteers that help in numerous ways, from moving instruments and stands from the band room to the football field on Friday nights, to helping with Festival and Solo & Ensembles. However, this year we are looking to fill one of the booster board member roles, the Treasurer position, before the 2024/25 school year.  

If you are interested in learning more about this position, please reach out to Marc Simkins, our booster’s president (president@coopersvillebands.org), or join us at our next meeting on May 9 @ 6:00pm in the High School band room to learn more. Even if you are not interested in joining the boosters board but would like to attend our meetings, please join us the 2nd Tuesday of each month @6:00pm in the HS band room. We are always looking for fresh faces and ideas at our meetings.

 

Grand Rapids Symphony Fundraiser

Hello Band Families, 

The Grand Rapids Symphony has partnered with the Band Boosters for 2 special concerts. On May 3 at 7:00pm and May 4 at 2:00pm, they are presenting ‘May the 4th Be With You’,  a Star Wars and More concert. We would like to invite you out with your families using the special code: CBANDS, or the QR code below or calling them at 616-454-9451 ext. 4 and mentioning the code. 

For ticket sold using this code the Band Boosters with get a percentage back to help fund various needs of the bands.

Band Festival (7th-12th Grade) Donations Needed and Booster Updates

Hello Band Families, 

We are looking for donations to help support the upcoming Band Festival for the 7th thru 12th grade students.  Make sure you drop your donation(s) off at the High School office by Friday, March 1st so we have time to organize.  Please do not have your student take them to the band room.
