We are looking forward to a great week of camp and can’t wait to get started tomorrow morning! 

The weather forecast looks great, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have to hydrate especially the night before.

Don’t forget:

– Eat Breakfast – This is very important!

– Bring a Lunch

– Bring Sunblock

– Wear Athletic Shoes and Socks

– Bring a Water bottle with your name on it

– Bring your Instrument and supplies

– Bring your Camp Fee (Can be brought in anytime during the week or pay online)

– Bring your smiles and a great attitude!

Camp starts at 9:00am – Go Broncos!

We are still looking for volunteers in different areas of camp and donations of snacks.  If you are able to donate prepackaged snacks please send them on Monday morning and the boosters will help to organize them.

A few parents have been asking about the band camp fee so I wanted to write a quick email to go over a few things.  The last time the $55 camp fee was discussed was in the spring with handout and during the spring concerts.   I will begin to add the fee in my summer reminders as well. The camp fee covers their t-shirt and the remainder goes pay the additional instructional staff we hire and custom percussion arrangements and instruction.

There are two methods of payment.  PayPal – www.coopersvillebands.org/bandcampfee or check or cash.  Checks can be made out to Coopersville Band Boosters.

Theme Days!  Help your section participate in theme day and help earn points toward Band Olympics on Friday afternoon for fantastic and fabulous prizes.

Monday – Hat Day and Sports Day (any type of hat, crazier the better and anything to support your favorite team)

Tuesday – Wacky Hair Day

Wednesday – Twin Day

Thursday – Mismatched Day/Theme Day (Any mismatched clothes or anything related to the Pixar theme)

Friday – Color Day, to go with Band Olympics
