Pre-Festival and Festival Week Schedule

Thursday – March 2nd

Pre-Festival Concert and Clinic – 6:30-8:30

Both Bands will be sharing stage time and working with our guest clinician Mrs. Greenwood.  Each band will start with a full concert run.  Parents are welcome to this event!

6:15 – 6:30 On stage ready for warmup to begin at 6:30

Festival Day

12:45 Report to Aux Gym (Do not leave instruments in the band room)

HS – Playoff Football Performance

The football team is in the playoffs so our marching season keeps going!  We will follow the same schedule as last week.  We will have concert rehearsals this week until we do a review of the show on Friday during class.

5:30 pm Report to Band Room and change into uniform

5:50 Rehearsal on Practice Field – Stand Tunes, Show with Announcements, Pregame

6:30 Line Up and march to Stadium

Wednesday, October 12th – MSBOA Marching Festival Itinerary

3:30 pm – Band Room Open

– Clothes to wear under uniform, black band t-shirt, tall black socks (you can dress in layers for warmth, but not too bulky!)

– Change into uniform

– Pizza (Thank You Band Boosters!)

4:00 pm – Load the Trailer

4:30 pm – Bus Departure

5:10 pm – Arrive at Mona Shores High School

6:15 pm – Warm-Up

6:45 pm – Travel Time

7:00 pm – Perform Monopoly

7:15 pm – Watch Bands

8:15 pm – Awards

8:40 pm – Departure

9:20 pm – Arrive at Coopersville High School

There will be concessions available at the festival.  Gate fee for the festival is $5.00 per person

 

Saturday, October 15th – Auditorium Show

3:00 pm – Band Room Open

3:15 pm – Change into Uniform

3:45 pm – Set Staging for Show Entrance

4:00 pm – Auditorium Show Begins

5:15 pm – Show Ends (Approx)
